American heavy metal band Metallica have joined forces with Vans, launching a new footwear collection to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their bestselling album The Black Album.

The range features two designs, the Sk8-Hi and the Classic Slip-On, and both are emblazoned with artwork inspired by the band and designed by Metallica artist Pushead, who's previously produced imagery for their merchandise and stage sets.
